Happy Dog: Bespoke plans for dogs with grooming aversions or previous trauma. We use desensitisation, counterconditioning, grooming modifications, and a collaborative approach with you. Care may also involve referring to our network of trusted professionals, including behaviourists, trainers, or vets – such as in cases of general anxiety or a potential health issue.
Confidence Building Grooming Packages – for dogs with big feelings
Happy You: Reassurance and support for you, knowing that your dog’s complex emotional needs or history of reactivity doesn’t mean that there’s no solution. This package is often recommended for dogs previously turned away from other salons.
Full Groom – complete care that feels safe
Happy Dog: A full grooming session tailored to your dog. Includes bathing, drying, coat styling or clipping, nail trimming, hygiene trim, ear cleaning, and paw pad tidy. The grooming process is consent-based, so may be split over sessions for dogs who are anxious or in the early stages of a confidence-building package.
Happy You: Ideal for your dog’s regular maintenance whether they are already well-socialised or need to work towards a full groom gradually.
Bath, Brush & Blow Dry – for in-betweeners
Happy Dog: A maintenance groom for dogs who don’t need a haircut. This focuses on coat hygiene and comfort, and is often used in between full grooms. Can also include light trimming of feet and hygiene areas if helpful.
Happy You: If you’re aiming for regular coat upkeep, this is perfect for first visits and less complex grooming needs.
Deshedding – soft strokes, lighter coats
Happy Dog: A specialist service for double-coated breeds to remove dead undercoat and reduce shedding. Includes bathing, drying, and use of coat-appropriate tools to maintain healthy skin and coat.
Happy You: The welcome help you need to be able to manage coat maintenance and shedding at home if your dog is a double-coated breed. Perfect for Collies, Shepherds, Retrievers, and Huskies.
Hand Stripping – coat-specific grooming
Happy Dog: Careful, manual removal of dead hair from wire-coated breeds to maintain their coat texture and appearance. Attentive, unrushed and highly coat-specific to your dog.
Happy You: Thoughtful, breed-standard coat care for your wire-coated dog – perfect for breeds such as Border Terriers.
Nail Trim – for well-kept paws
Happy Dog: A standalone or add-on service for trimming nails, using positive handling techniques. Can be included in packages for dogs fearful of paw handling.

Emmipet Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning – for healthy smiles
Happy Dog: Silent, non-invasive oral care using an ultrasonic toothbrush, focusing on plaque reduction and ongoing maintenance. Requires regular sessions for best results.
Happy You: Your dog’s routine dental hygiene is in good hands – particularly if they’re intolerant to traditional brushing.
Puppy Package – for the perfect start in life
Happy Pup: A staged introduction to grooming for puppies, including social visits, gentle exposure to equipment, and mini grooms. Focuses on building positive associations and lifelong grooming habits.
Happy You: As a new puppy guardian, we’ll help you build their confidence and enjoyment for life-long happy grooming. Perfect for puppies aged 12 weeks to around 6 months.
